I was then secretary to the Dade County Tax Collector and Bud was  Head Cashier.  We practiced at Bud's home after work.

Bud brought happiness wherever he went, always smiling and carrying a tune.  Those are among the most cherished years of my life.  We kept in touch all these years and talked last Christmas.  Deepest condolences to his son, brother, and family.  I know Bud will brighten the heavens with his smile and music.

Lovingly,

adela

Story shared: Tax Collector memories http://johnmoakey.frontrunnerpro.com/runtime/249343/runtime.php?SiteId=249343&NavigatorId=1129902&ItemId=2773215&op=tributeFamilyStories&viewOpt=dpaneOnly&gid=story6637066 I briefly knew him when I worked for the Miami Dade TC office.  Mr.Brodie's poems for coworkers for special occasions (retirement, birthday's , etc) were always well received.  Also remebered his band at office Christmas parties.
