I could write a full length novel about this man. Rob was 18 yrs old when I was born and he asked Mom if she would allow him to name me; therefore, Barbara Jane Goodman is the name he gave me. He was a very wise man and had a compassionate heart just as our Mother did. I learned many things about our family before my birth through his wonderful email messages.(I kept everyone). He amazed me with his ability to adapt to computer usage. I mailed him a small camera so we could see each other when chatting. He was so tickled to see every move I made while on it. I will miss that fun with my Dear Brother Rob. God blessed us with giving him a long life and he spoke several times of how very good God has been to him while we were visiting with him November 16, 2014. Our hearts are sad but we have wonderful memories and know he is in Heaven now with our loved ones and waiting for us to join him when God calls us Home. I loved Rob very much.

Prayers for all that loved a very good man. My son greatly loved his grandpa. Whenever I spoke to him,he would always talk about his amazing grandpaw. Forty years ago I watched him and his beloved .,,,,,,continuously do their best to support and love their children. John sung beautiful music on numerous instruments. I think his Gibson guitar was his favorite then. I still to this day find myself singing Fox on the Run. I have no doubt, he is singing and playing with Gods Angels. John and his wife both left precious memories to all that had the blessed chance in life to meet them. Heartfelt condoleces to each one of you, you can always carry him in your heart.You all can truly say " they don't make them like my daddy anymore.....God Bless.

John & I were fortunate that we were to meet and share almost 10 years of caring, music and a special friendship on the road nearing the last years here on earth. He was a wonderful father to his children and husband to Gladys. He told me about taking early retirement so he could care for her and she could be at home when she was battling MS and finally congestive heart failure. My life was enriched by knowing him.
